Our programme
Our programme is based on the New Zealand Early Childhood Curriculum, Te Whariki, which aspires for every child to grow up “as competent and confident learners and communicators, healthy in mind, body and spirit, secure in their sense of belonging, secure in the knowledge that they make a valued contribution to society." - Ministry of Education (1996) Te Whariki: Early Childhood Curriculum. Wellington, New Zealand: Learning Media."
Our planning consists of a combination of child-initiated and teacher-led activities with the opportunity for children to be extended and enriched through individual and group interests, incorporating age-appropriate, stimulating activities and experiences. One-to-one teaching and small group sessions are provided, while free play periods are also offered throughout the day for children to explore the environment at their own pace.
